Cosmic Gate keeps ‘em coming in a steady pace; this time they bring us “The Drums”, released on the Black Hole imprint.”

As with the previous two releases, these new remixes are all connected to “Back 2 The Future – The Classics From 1999-2003 Remixed”. “The Drums” comes in two superb remakes.

The first track in the pack comes from the inspirational Markus Schulz who has developed his rendition with the intention of smashing the big rooms global. Starting off with a thick bass, crisp yet chunky drum-racks and circulating swoosh effects, the track begins to climb, twist and curve before smashing down some flawless atmospherically charged synths that without hesitation give you the incentive to throw your hands up in the air, and jump around in utter exultation. Markus Schulz has not only created a dance-floor banger, but a track that will be played within many DJ sets around the globe – making this release a memorable addition to the Black Hole Imprint.

The second track comes from Robbie Rivera who has given us a jaw dropping take on the original. Robbie has designed the track around piercing jabs, winding cogs and a devious bassline that crawls around infesting your brain. This dominant baby will have you climbing walls, especially when the high speed rotations and sucker punching drums kick in to play. It’s a mischievous rendition that ‘RAWRS’ at you from start to finish.

Cosmic Gate – The Drums is definitely one for the DJ who wants to create an impact on the dance-floor, simultaneously; it’s a superb addition for your CD collections – This release comes highly recommended!
