“The whole album has something for everybody, it’s a tightly packed manifestation of feel good vibes, and a splash of Summer reminiscence.” – Rachel Rixham

‘UNTIL ONE’ is a collection of each Mafia member’s solo work to date, and takes you on a sonic journey from the early club beginnings through to recent top 10 crossover single ‘One’ (now over 10 million YouTube views)

Starting off with the recent banger ‘Miami 2 Ibiza‘ it becomes clear that ‘Swedish House Mafia‘ have set their sights high with this release, the incentive obvious; move every bone and have you raving about in an energetic manner no matter where you find yourself. When reviewing I was actually working out on my cross trainer, within minutes I found myself giving the equipment a hefty run for it’s money. I was running in time with every beat, and raising the bar within the tempo, It’s probably the most fun I have ever had whilst working out.

‘UNTIL ONE’ is jammed with tune after tune, an all-star celebration of dancefloor excess, highlights from this continuous mix include Axwell’s 2007 smash ‘I Found U and brand new solo outing ‘Nothing But Love’. ‘Valodja’ sees Steve Angello teaming up with his younger brother AN21 (Antoine) plus his now legendary remake of Robin S’ ‘Show Me Love’. Other stand out tracks include Sebastian Ingrosso’s classic reworking of MGMT’s ‘Kids’ entitled ‘Kidsos’ and ‘Meich’, a mash up featuring Coldplay’s ‘Clocks’ (personally blessed by Chris Martin). Daft Punk’s ‘One More Time’ and The Source featuring Candi Station ‘You Got The Love’ also get the Swedish treatment.

Axwell, Sebastian and Steve have constructed an admirable addition that will showcase itself well within your CD collection. After listening to the album in full, I have come to appreciate how it was possible for three impeccable artists to come together so easily, each of them harbor something greatly desired, and when you compile those three talents together you not only witness flawless releases, steadfast, unwavering loyalty, and monumental performances but you create something incomparable namely; Swedish House Mafia

“Together, they have built an unstoppable momentum and keep pushing closer toward their goal of global musical domination.” – DJ Times

The album ‘UNTIL ONE’ soundtracks the eagerly-awaited film documentary ‘TAKE ONE’ DVD (released November). This warts and all intimate account documents the extremes, the excess, the highs and the lows of being on the road making you want to simultaneously laugh, cry and dance – of course. Directed by Christian Larson (whose work with Jonas Åkerlund includes Lady GagaBeyonceJennifer Lopez and Rammstein), this unique film follows Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso over the course of 2 years, 285 gigs and 15 countries.

The film takes the viewer on a rollercoaster which goes beyond the music to show what binds together 3 friends, 3 artists, 3 pioneers and 3 individuals in an emotional ride to success as a group. In recent years DJs have been portrayed as the new rock stars and where the 80’s gave birth to acid house, this film illustrates how a whole new generation are again pioneering electronic music to define youth culture for millions.
