Dereck Recay – Essence Of Life / Inside Out Reviewed

Dereck Recay first appeared on Flux in 2009 with his fantastic remix of Vicky Devines “War of Souls” and since that time we have been looking forward to a single from the talented producer. With his previous releases gaining support from the likes of Armin van BuurenAly and Fila and Tiesto we expected a treat and he has not disappointed.

This month I am definitely putting ‘Recoverworld‘ down as my favourite label of the moment, simply because they’re dishing out so many explosive bangers. The production quality is always at it’s very best and the music releases highly prestigious and memorable.

Dereck Recay – Essence Of Life (Original Mix)
Is yet another one of those tracks that everyone should have within their CD collections, or for that matter DJ sets. This track compiles breath-taking piano pads, explosive basslines, skyline synths and piercing stabs not to mention; a dreamy melody that just keeps on thriving within the arpeggiated sounds. Essence Of Life is beautifully crafted throughout – and reflects wonderfully those very elements that get’s us moving on the dance-floor.

Dereck Recay – Inside Out (Original Mix)
The mephistophelian loop lingers, before wrapping itself around your mind – you have fallen victim. The bassline surpasses every expectation, you find yourself curling, evolving and twisting, before becoming subject to a sound-scape of infectious sounds that spawn your full focus. A sharp transient wave injects electrical pulses throughout your lifeless body, quickly you become aware of a journey, seated firmly you travel through vast shapes and space. Unknowingly your emotions are paving the way; where will this journey lead you?

Caution – this is BIG music!!!!
